Moose is  A little further away, about 120 km away and about 1.5 hours by car, but for palm tree lovers  an impressive experience.

The Palmeral extends over an area of 1.5 square kilometers within the city of Elche

and includes the city park (Parque Municipal) and many orchards.

Incredible 11,000 palm trees, especially date palms, can be found here. In addition, some of them have already reached the proud age of around 300 years.

The Palmeral has been officially declared a World Heritage Site since 2010.
